CA Intermediate Result 2022-23

CA Intermediate Exams are conducted in the starting month of November 22. Since the completion of the exam, it is expected to get the result after 50-60 days which means that the results will be declared on 10-15 January 2023 (Expected Date).

This is expected because, from the new scheme, ICAI has started to declare results within 50 days. For example, in the previous attempt on May 22, ICAI declared results near around 58-62 days for Ca intermediate Students.

CA Intermediate Pass Percentage 2022-2023

The Ca Intermediate Pass Percentage is explained below-

First of all, to understand the pass percentage, we need to know about the subjects of Ca Intermediate-

CA Intermediate Single Group Candidates

Candidates appearing for any of the groups, either Group-I or Group II, has to achieve a minimum of 40 marks in each of the subjects, and the aggregate of a single group has to be 200 marks. This is how CA Intermediate Result is made by the concerned authorities.

In this case, the Candidate is not passed in the May 22 attempt, but the candidate scored good marks on the papers and got an exemption.

In this case, the Candidate has cleared group-i in the May 22 attempt with 2 exemptions in the paper.

CA Intermediate Both Group Candidates 

Candidates appearing for both Groups have to achieve a minimum of 400 marks in aggregate and 40 marks in each of the eight subjects to clear in CA Intermediate Result.

Strategy to Clear CA Intermediate Paper 

The strategy to clear the CA intermediate is explained below –

• If a student appears for a single group, they have to target to get exemption in two papers and in the remaining two papers, they need to target to score a minimum of 50% marks.
  Note:- It will depend on the individual on which paper they must set the target. Now, if a student has a stronger practical portion, then that particular student has to target to get an exemption in those practical papers.
• If a student wants to appear for both groups in the ca intermediate exam, then there will be a simple strategy to target 60% in any four papers and in the remaining four papers, they need to target to get 50% marks. Now it will ultimately depend on the candidate on which paper they want to set the target.

CA Intermediate Exemption Criteria

• Candidates must score a minimum of 60 marks in each subject to get an exemption in the paper.
• If a candidate appears for a single group in a particular attempt, he/she must attend all four papers of particular groups. ( Group I or Group II)
  E.g., If a candidate has enrolled for Group I in the Nov-22 attempt, If the candidate wants an exemption, then the candidate has to appear for all four subjects of that particular group.
• If a candidate has given both the groups and thinks he/she will get an exemption in papers, then he/she has to attend all the papers in the exam.
• There is no maximum limit for the number of papers to get exempt.
• The exemption can be carried forward for the successive three attempts, irrespective of whether the candidate has given that particular attempt or not.
  For e.g., If a candidate has get exemption in paper 1- Accounting in May 22 attempt, then this exemption will be carried forward till Nov 23 attempt. Now, if the candidate has not cleared the examination by Nov 23, then the candidate must also give the accounting paper in May 24.

CA Intermediate Rank List 2022-2023

To get a rank in the Ca Intermediate exam; a candidate must score at least 75% of the total marks. The lowest rank will depend on the scores of the candidates. The Institute of Charted Accountants of India declared only the Top fifty ranks in each attempt. But in any number of ranks, there can be 4 or 5 candidates.

How to Check CA Intermediate Merit-List 2022-2023?

There are certain steps that need to be followed to check the merit list-

STEP 1- First, the candidate must check the result.

STEP 2- After checking the result, the candidate has to go back to the screen and click on the notification to check the merit list

STEP 3- The candidate has to enter the details 

STEP 4- Then click on the Submit button.

STEP 5- Your Rank will appear on the screen.
